Epic Movie Premikudu, Featuring Prabhu Deva, Returns to Theaters After 30 Years

Premikudu, the epic blockbuster that stole hearts three decades ago, is set to return to the big screen. Produced by the renowned K. T. Kunjumon and directed by the visionary S. Shankar, the film will be re-released worldwide on May 1st in over 300 theaters. The re-release is led by producers Ramana and Muralidhar, with support from CMR Productions.

Starring the iconic Prabhu Deva and the captivating Nagma, Premikudu left an indelible mark on Indian cinema with its gripping storyline and unforgettable music by Oscar winner A. R. Rahman. The film also features the legendary actor S. P. Balasubramaniam, whose performance adds a timeless charm.

The grand re-release event was attended by producers Muralidhar Reddy, Ramana, along with esteemed figures like Lagadapati Srinivas and Shobharani. Muralidhar Reddy thanked the audience and distributors for their overwhelming response, extending special thanks to mega producer Kunjumon for his support.

Shobharani highlighted efforts to enhance the viewing experience, announcing that Premikudu will be presented in stunning 4K quality. She emphasized the enduring appeal of the film’s romantic storyline and political drama, along with the timeless music.
